Sietm was established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 2009 and is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. It is running B.Tech. programs in four disciplines Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Civil Engineering (CE), and Mechanical Engineering (ME). These courses are approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The students of SIETM, Unnao are extensively exposed to cross-cultural environment as candidates from various other join SIETM for various undergraduate programs. SIETM, Unnao is a fully residential institution. The institute is situated 6 km away from the city (Unnao By-pass) on Raibarely Road near Achalganj. It is well connected through road and rail network. The nearest airport is Kanpur & Lucknow which is about 60 km far from the institute.
